Allowing yourself to be controlled, either by others or by your own anger, represses your original qualities of tolerance and love, and thus creates a very deep kind of sorrow in the soul. To overpower this weakness, we need to be always aware that we are not only children of GOD but also heirs to His Divine qualities.

Cheerfulness comes from a sense of well being and contentment. It is a high quality, but it does not always stay with us. Thoughts of envy, worry, anger and hatred enter the mind, and cheerfulness vanishes. To maintain a "smiling face" we need to focus our attention only on the good qualities around us. When we see bad qualities we retain the defects of others and it poisons our intellect. When we see good qualities then our thoughts will be pure, our action elevated bringing with them a sense of contentment and joy free from a poisonous atmosphere.

If there is love for God, then automatically the soul becomesco-operative with all because God is the seed. By giving water to theseed, every leaf automatically receives water and then there is noneed to water each leaf individually. To be linked in love with thespiritual Father means to have love for all.

Let the power of tolerance be your armor. Without this armor, youbecome delicate to the storm of obstacles and you lose your happinessand enthusiasm and become disheartened. This armor will be yourprotection.

Unity is harmony within and amongst people. It is built with a sharedvision for the good of all and a common goal. Unity is appreciatingthe value of each person and their unique contribution. When there iswillingness to accommodate others, unity blossoms.
