Don’t Waste Your Patience !

Someone may relate some news to you once and you enjoyed that very much because it was something new. Sometimes it happens that you listen to them once and so where will they go the second time? They will come to you. You became a dustbin for them. Whatever such news they have, they will come and relate that to you because you listened to them before. Otherwise, explain to them and liberate them from such matters. Do not increase your interest by listening to them.

Dear Lord, please give me…

A few friends who understand me and remain my friends;

A work to do which has real value,

without which the world would be the poorer;

A mind unafraid to travel, even though the trail be not blazed;

An understanding heart; A sense of humor; Time for quiet, silent meditation;

A feeling of the presence of God;

The patience to wait for the coming of these things, With the wisdom to recognize them when they come.

Fill It with Positivity...!!!

Affluent societies have put huge effort into improving physical facilities, but our minds have suffered neglect. Increased levels of negative states such as anxiety, addiction, irritability and depression have accompanied burgeoning desires. As well as undermining the health of individuals, these negative attitudes and emotions harm society and the environment by causing a loss of fundamental values in our actions. When we feel sad and empty inside, we become part of the problem. We comfort ourselves by blaming others and circumstances. Instead we have to learn how to make our mind strong. That means fill it with positivity.

Good Qualities leads to Pure Thoughts...!!!

Cheerfulness comes from a sense of well being and contentment. It is a high quality, but it does not always stay with us. Thoughts of envy, worry, anger and hatred enter the mind, and cheerfulness vanishes. To maintain a "smiling face" we need to focus our attention only on the good qualities around us. When we see bad qualities we retain the defects of others and it poisons our intellect. When we see good qualities then our thoughts will be pure, our action elevated bringing with them a sense of contentment and joy free from a poisonous atmosphere.

Establish Relationship with God...!!!

The sign of a great man is his accuracy. The means of achieving accuracy is setting up a time-table. Time-tables are for busy people, helping them do the work of five people. When you find there is so much activity, so much to be done, set your own time table. This helps to achieve success. At times some may feel that although they have been successful in many activities and achieved a lot, there is no sense of achievement, no satisfaction - and the soul searching questions start originating. Each individual will find his answer, his place in the tree of life if they can establish a relationship with God the Father. When setting your time-table, perhaps you can put in a few moments to be spent with just you and God, your Father and enjoy a sweet relationship with Him.

Connecting to Inner Positive Qualities...!!!

When we are under the influence of our weaknesses and tend to use them during pressurizing situations, we are not able to experience freedom. We feel bound by the difficult situation and so are not able to express all the positive qualities that we have. We need to make a practice of connecting to our own inner power constantly. For this we need to keep reminding ourselves again and again of this power. Then during difficult times, these qualities will be available for us in order to be free from the influence of situation and to have a positive influence.
