Remain Happy In Difficult Situations Also !

True service is to spread the light of happiness to all around. In any negative situation, the usual reaction is to feel disheartened and unhappy. With this reaction to the situation, the people around too are affected as the unhappiness spreads around. Focusing this way only on the problem creates such negativity that it doesn't inspire anyone to work for a solution. Instead of spreading unhappiness in a difficult situation by seeing the negative aspect, we need to think of how to bring a solution. Even if we can't, we need to look at some positive aspect in it that will enable us to maintain our own positivity. When we keep ourselves happy in this way, we will be able to spread this happiness to others too.

Peace Is Freedom !

Each morning before I begin the journey of my day let me sit still, in silence, and sow the seed of peace. Peace is harmony and balance. Peace is freedom - freedom from the burden of negativity and wastefulness. Let peace find its home within me. Peace is my original strength, my eternal tranquility of being. Let my first thought of the day simply be peaceful.

Maintain Your Inner Self-Respect Even In Difficult Situations !

Real positivity is being positive even in negative situations. It seems very difficult, if not impossible, to maintain positive thoughts when we are faced with a negative situation. Even with a strong intention to be positive, challenges come in the form of relationships, physical illness, difficult circumstances etc and we find ourselves weakening. A long time of practice of maintaining inner self-respect is what will help us in a difficult situation. To maintain self-respect means to understand and appreciate our own uniqueness. With this practice of self-respect we will not be dependent on the external situation but will find the strength within.

Have A Vision Of Perfection !

The one with the vision of perfection constantly experiences progress. Many times, as we are moving ahead in the path of our life, we find ourselves stagnating. There seems to be no progress at all in any aspect of our life. We try to bring about a few changes that work for sometime. But after sometime we find ourselves dissatisfied and we stop trying. We need to have the vision of perfection constantly in front of our eyes. We need to ask ourselves what is it that we expect out of ourselves, to be a source of joy to others, to keep learning.... it could be anything that inspires us to constantly move ahead while appreciating all that life brings.

Determination Leads You To Success !

Determination enables elevated thoughts to become practical. When we have an aim in our life and are working for it, we sometimes are not able to bring into practice all that we plan to do. We then tend to become disheartened and give up after trying for some time. Thus we lose out on the benefit that our thoughts can bring in our life. In order to put into practice the good thoughts that we get i.e., in order to make our thoughts practical we need to stamp it with determination. Our words should never be 'I'll try', but must always be 'I will do it'. Where there is determination there is victory.

Hope Brings New Ways Of Success !

To have hope means to have a chance for success. When we encounter failures, we sometimes get so disheartened that we lose hope in both the situations and in ourselves. Instead of seeing the obstacle that comes our way as a turn, we see it as an end and give up trying. So we lose out on our chance for success. Even when things don't seem to be working out right, we must never leave hope. To leave hope means to rule out our chance for success. When we have hope we will keep thinking of new ways for success. We will then surely get cooperation from somewhere or the other and we will be successful.

Perfection Is Attained With Positivity !

Perfection comes when there is positivity in thoughts. When we are faced with any weakness of ours, we usually think about it so much that it is totally blown out of proportion and it seems bigger than it actually is. This leads to negative thinking, which in turn doesn't let us work on improving ourselves. We will then just remain the way we are, not being able to bring about progress. What we need to do in order to win over our weakness is to change our focus. Instead of thinking about the weakness, we only need to think, "I am not perfect yet, but I am working towards it and I am slowly improving." With such positive thoughts, our negativity will finish.

Focus Your Energy On Getting A Solution !

Faith enables one to bring solutions to problems. When problems come, we tend to overreact to it or exaggerate it to such an extent that it becomes a trap for us. Instead of working on the problem we fall a prey to it making all our thoughts negative. Once we are caught up in negativity we will neither look for, nor find solutions. Each thought of ours is important when working on a problem. Instead of making our thoughts negative, we need to remind ourselves that what we are going through is a test which we must pass with honour. When we have this thought, all our energy will be focussed on working to bring a solution.

Talk To Your Mind With Love !

Self-respect increases when one learns to converse positively to the self. The usual way to talk to the self is to talk to the most superficial aspects of the personality, those which are related to fears (including those of the future), complaints and mindless repetition of things in the past. Such talk to the self only lowers the self-respect to a great extent. Not only when our mind is going towards waste and negative, but at all times, it is important that we talk to the mind with love, as we would talk to a child. Like a mother would lovingly explain to the child, we need to teach our mind with love. This creates true happiness within and our self-respect increases.

Have Good Qualities In Your Mind !

When you build a house every brick counts. When you build a character every thought counts. You are what you think. Love, purity, peace, wisdom - the more you think of these qualities, the more you will become them.

Recognize Each One ‘s Virtues !

True respect comes not from what one does but how well it is done. Respect is usually associated with what one does, i.e., it is usually associated with position, status etc which is associated with the job. When there is such an attitude, there is a tendency to look at the people around in a superficial way, missing out on recognising their true worth. We need to recognise the fact that true respect comes from doing well whatever is being done. We need to recognise each one's virtues and qualities revealed through the behaviour. This enables us to have true respect for others. We then no longer look at what one is doing as important, but will be able to appreciate each and every one's contribution.

Have More Positive Thoughts In Your Mind !

To think less is to remain happy. Usually there is a tendency to think more than normal when there is a challenging situation. Although it is considered to be good to think more, we usually miss out on the fact that thinking more means having lots of waste thoughts along with those that are necessary. When we find ourselves thinking a lot we need to ask ourselves if all these thoughts are really necessary. We need to recognize waste thoughts and replace them with something more positive. With this practice we'll find ourselves thinking less and at the same time having powerful thoughts which will keep us cheerful under all circumstances.

Encourage Others To Move Forward !

To fill the ones who are hopeless with hope is the greatest service. To have faith by seeing the positive qualities even in the most negative person is to fill them with hope. Also to fill hope means to encourage others to move forward in the most negative situation. When this is done they are able to use their potentials for a positive purpose and slowly bring about a change for the better. When we are able to see positivity under all circumstances, we are able to have the courage and enthusiasm to make the best out of every situation. This also naturally makes us an inspiration for those around us too and makes us an image of support for those who want to make effort.

Bring Positivity In Your Life !

To be free from guilt means to ensure quick and easy progress. Blaming oneself for all that happens and taking the mind to extreme levels of guilt takes one to a sense of unworthiness. Such a person loses the strength and is unable to look for solutions in difficult situations. Hence there is nothing new that can be thought of, and the situation doesn't get any better. When we continue to blame ourselves, we believe that we deserve neither happiness nor love and that the sorrow that we are experiencing is a deserved punishment. So we lose all enthusiasm to improve the situation and have no awareness of the treasures that we have. So we experience no progress in our life.

Always Keep A Positive Attitude !

The ones who see only specialties become special. To see specialties and ignore negativity is to take a step ahead by imbibing those specialties. This creates a habit of seeing, taking in and expressing only positive qualities. So whatever the person may be, whatever his qualities may be, there is only a connection of positivity with him. When we are able to relate to everyone in this way with only specialties, we become special. We also find others responding positively to us and using only their specialties while in contact with us. There are also a lot of good wishes that we receive from others because of our positive attitude.

Have Tolerance ! It Helps !

To have tolerance means to be stable. When one is faced with defamation or insult, tolerance gives the power to be stable and cool. And so there is the ability to smile even when there is negativity that comes. Tolerance means to see beyond the insults because of being stable in the stage of self-respect. When faced with criticism, if we are able to be stable in our stage of self-respect, we are able to learn from every negative remark that comes our way. We will never become defensive, but will be able to see clearly what new learning we could take.

Help Others And Win Their Trust !

The one who is able to discriminate well is able to bring about real benefit. Everyone naturally works for the benefit of the self and others. But the one who discriminates well is able to understand the other person's need and give accordingly. So whatever is done naturally brings benefit for others and also for the self. When we are able to bring benefit for the right person at the right time with the right thing, we are able to win the trust of the other person. We expect nothing in return, but have the satisfaction of helping at the
right time.

Experience The Joy Of Being A Giver !

The one who is aware of one's fortune enables others to experience their fortune too. To be aware of one's own fortune means to appreciate and use all that one has. Also when there is the awareness of one's own fortune, there is a natural tendency to help people become aware of what they have and how they can benefit from it. So the one who is fortunate becomes a giver. When we are able to recognize our own fortune, we are able to have the joy of being a giver constantly. Whatever the circumstances, we are able to give knowing that we are fortunate. But never is there dependency created on us, because our help is to make them aware of their fortune too and make them independent.

Bring Out The Specialties In You !

To be careless means to misuse specialties. To be careless means that there is no awareness of one's specialties and so there is the inability to use them for the benefit of the self and for the good of others. On the other hand there is also a tendency to become overconfident because of these specialties and not to work on self - transformation. The one who is careless is not able to recognize the need for self change and so is not able to bring about transformation. When we are able to be free from carelessness, we are able to understand the importance of the specialties that we have, and are able to use a particular specialty. So we find that the more we are able to use a particular specialty, the more we are able to bring out and use the latent specialties that are within ourselves.

Develop The Habit Of Thinking Positive !

The habit of thinking positive finishes negative. Just as it has become a habit of thinking negative, a positive habit when created will naturally bring about a change. A little practice and attention to form a habit of thinking positive will reveal its result of creating an influence of positivity. The situations will not change on their own, but the habit that has been formed will bring about a change in the response and will change the situation too. Usually it becomes very difficult or sometimes impossible for us to think positive in difficult situations. At that time, although we want to, the response that emerges from within is based on the habit that is formed previously. So when we make the habit of constantly and consciously thinking positive, we then become free from the struggle of having to change our mind to positive in difficult situations.
