Welcome the Morning of 2012 Positively !!!

Sometimes it feels as if angels appear right on cue.

But perhaps for most of us, it's the recognition that solutions are more likely to be found in everyday things around us and in our friends. It may well be that it is we ourselves who are in the position of being an angel.

A kind word, a smile or simply our presence can touch another person and set off a ripple. By maintaining sensitivity for the well-being of others, we may give ourselves the opportunity to see life through an angel's eyes.

Speak With Love Filled With Good Wishes For Others...

Respect for others enables them to strengthen themselves and progress.

When you have respect for others you are actually creating an environment in which they can strengthen themselves and grow. You are not caught up with their weaknesses but are encouraging them to use their specilaities. When you see someone working with his weakness think of one speciality in that person and relate to him with this speciality. Also draw his attention to it and slowly you'll find him getting stronger.

Enhance Your Soul With Every Moment of Life !

Every moment of every day is an opportunity to strengthen your ability to be soul conscious. The practical application of meditation means that you can move into this “soul awareness” wherever you are – while cooking, during a journey, in the middle of a conversation, while working in the office etc. These are the basic steps to practice moving into a state of stillness and focusing your awareness.

Sit in a comfortable but alert position wherever you are right now... Imagine your whole body is surrounded by an envelope of subtle light... See the light draw itself up to a point of focus above and behind your physical eyes... Be aware that you are that point of focus...

Just as you might stand absolutely still as you look through the windows of your home to see the street or garden outside... look through your eyes now as if they were windows... Be aware that you are not your eyes... you are the still point of awareness, a tiny sparkling star, the soul, looking through your eyes seeing the world 'out there'... Remain still inside...

As you watch people and life moving around you, remain completely still... just watching without thinking about what you see... Then, in one split second ‘narrow’ your awareness to one small detail in the scene that you see... Hold that detail for a moment... Be free of any judgment or assessment of the detail… Just watch...just be aware... Then ‘expand’ your awareness to the entire scene once again... Remind yourself of who you are...the soul looking out through the windows of the eyes...completely still....focused...fully aware.

Make It Sweet & Things Will Be Smoother !

WEB VISION GLOBAL
WISHES ALL ITS READERS
A MERRY CHRISTMAS

A bitter tongue makes life bitter; a sweet tongue makes life better. Instead of being forceful and bitter with the truth, allow the truth to be coated with kindness and compassion, make it sweet. Sweetness makes the truth more palatable, easier to digest. It softens the hard facts without disguising them. Make sweetness your natural nature, and then your words will automatically be filled with sweetness.

Qualities of the Soul !! - Part 2

(.. continued)

Knowledge
To know and to be what I am eternally and truly, and to exist in this consciousness, is what we mean by knowledge. It is not knowing about the soul, peace, love, etc., but rather knowing is to be the soul, to be peace, to be love. This quality of true knowing is expressed through 'I am', the original awareness of the self that exists beyond the false self of ego.

Happiness
Happiness is the natural expression of joy in being alive and interacting with others. Happiness is only possible when I relate to myself and express respectfully what I am and allow others to share in what I am and what I have. I relate to people and nature and experience the fulfillment of human life through relationships.

In the Rajyoga meditation, we absorb the rays of these five primary qualities from the Supreme Soul by concentrating on his point of divine light form in the incorporeal world (“paramdham” or “shantidham”). The absorption and the harmony of these basic qualities (peace, purity, love, knowledge and happiness) lead to the development many more virtues inside us.

As we become aware of these five primary qualities, we gradually realize that each one of them has many characteristics. e.g. we understand that love does not mean just a special feeling for one or two people. Spiritual love is far greater; it means respect, tolerance, forgiveness, compassion and flexibility; there is a universal feeling of belonging, an openness of heart, a generosity of spirit that is all-embracing.

Qualities of the Soul !! - Part 1

The soul has five primary qualities; we could say they are the primary colours of humanity with which we paint the picture of our lives. They are :

Peace
This is the original quality of the soul. Peace is serenity, the personal inner state of non-violence. In this state of peace, I harmonize with everything and everyone around me. The word 'shanti' means peace, and it is this thought (or word) we use as the key step in meditation.

Purity
A state of honesty and cleanliness where I am the same inside and outside, not deceiving either myself, or others. Consequently, there is no room for artificiality. Purity is the state of original truth where no violence is committed against others, nor can violence be committed against me. When the self is in its original purity, others cannot damage or destroy it, even if they try, because there is a natural aura of protection that acts as an invisible barrier. When I achieve this level of purity, it means I respect all things.

Love
Perhaps the most difficult original quality to achieve because it has become so mixed up with attachment, possessiveness and dependence, deeply ingrained habits that have become accepted as normal. As a result, the human being finds it difficult to realize the true form of pure love, which is unconditional. The quality of love means "I care", “I share” and, in particular, “I liberate”. True spiritual love never creates that need, or dependence, where others cannot find, or be, themselves.

Specialities makes you co-operate easily !

When you look at the specialities in each one you can easily cooperate with others and receive their cooperation. Each and every individual has something special. If you make the habit of seeing these specialities, you will find that others are able to relate to you with these specialities and you can easily get their cooperation. You will also be able to cooperate with them easily. Think of one person you are not able to cooperate with. Now think of one speciality of that person. Make sure you relate to this speciality whenever you come into contact with this person. As you continue this practice you will find your negativity vanishing away and cooperation becomes easy.

Get Feedback To Check If Promises Are Delivered !

The gap between what you say and what you do, between what you promise and what you deliver, is like a drain in the road. The drain is where water escapes, just as your power will seep away if there is a difference between your words and your actions. Ask yourself everyday, were your thoughts, words and actions aligned? Ask someone else what they saw in you too. Feedback is the food of all positive change.

Thoughtful Positive Quote !

To live in the present is to be free from the influence of the past. Many times the past keeps coming back again and again in the mind, influencing the present too. The present is lost in thinking about the past. So there can be nothing done to enjoy the present. All words and actions then are totally coloured by the past. Instead the one who is able to free himself from the influence of the past is able to move positively towards the future. To be free from the influence of the past it is important to have a powerful consciousness of the present. To be able to be free from the influence of the past is to forget the past. Because there is the understanding that it is gone. Also there is no worry about the future. When we are able to learn to live in the present we are able to discover how full it is of peaceful moments.

Humble Positive Words !!

Respect is to recognize and appreciate the unique role of each and everyone.

Each one is unique with his own specialities. When you recognize the role of each one, you can understand that he is playing his part accurately. Then you can acknowledge even the smallest contribution and you'll be free from expectations. When you find yourself having negative thoughts towards any one, make the practice of looking at one speciality in that person and relate to it. Also tell yourself that without the role of this particular person the drama would not be complete.

Have More Positive Thoughts In Your Mind !

There are times when our crowded lives and minds don't allow space for creativity to emerge.
For creativity to flow naturally, regularly make quiet time for yourself, to clear and refresh your mind.
Do nothing other than sit back, relax and let your mind: float freely on a hot-air balloon, swim through a deep blue ocean or soar into the sunset.

Positive Ways to Deal Practical Life !

We simply wait for our chance to speak

If you observe the conversations around you, you’ll notice that, often, what many of us do is simply wait for our chance to speak. We’re not really listening to the other person, but simply waiting for an opening to express our own view. We often complete other people’s sentences, or say things like, “Yeah, yeah,” or “I know,” very rapidly, urging them to hurry up so that we can have our turn.

This harried form of communication encourages us to criticize points of view, overreact, misinterpret meaning, and form opinions, all before our fellow communicator is even finished speaking. No wonder we are so often annoyed, bothered, and irritated with one another. Sometimes, with our poor listening skills, it’s a miracle that we have any friends at all!

You’ll be pleasantly amazed at the softer reactions and looks of surprise as you let others completely finish their thought before you begin yours. Often, you will be allowing someone to feel listened to for the very first time. You will sense a feeling of relief coming from the person to whom you are speaking – and a much calmer, less rushed feeling between the two of you.

No need to worry that you won’t get your turn to speak --- you will. In fact, it will be more rewarding to speak because the person you are speaking to will pick up on your respect and patience and will begin to do the same.

Cooperate & Communicate With Each Other To Achieve More !

When each one is working towards a common task, cooperation becomes easy.

To get others' cooperation you need to share the task and the information regarding the task with others. When you communicate your motives using easy and simple language, everyone can understand and feel a part of the whole and they would naturally contribute their best. Any new task that you take up make sure you inform all the details to everyone related to the task. Even the minutest details when communicated to others, helps in creating a priority in them to give their best to the task.

Inspiration Positive Thoughts !!

Be fluid like water and adapt your nature to your surroundings.
Your practice is not to resist.
Instead of forcing things to be the way you want them to be,
go with the flow.

To listen and to speak; to give and to receive;
to help others and to be helped;
to understand others and to be understood -
these are the simple steps to restore balance in relationships.

It is easy for a heart to break, but to put the pieces together is not so easy,
as the heart is very delicate.
If there is even a little bit of hurt,
there is so much discomfort and restlessness.
Our hearts have been fragmented over time
and the pieces are all over the place.
But God has now found us and put us in His heart.
He healed us and taught us how to smile.

Develop The Habit Of Thinking Positive !

Perform every task while in your self-respect and others will continue to cooperate with you.

When you are doing something and you are in your self-respect, it creates cooperation. On the other hand if you have ego because of which you expect others to recognize your work and appreciate it, it creates competition and jealousy. When you find someone not cooperating with you, check within yourself why you are performing that task. If there is the slightest feeling of trying to prove yourself, remove it. Let there be the thought in the mind that you want only success in the task and nothing else.

Be Efficient & Save More !!

Plan ways to save money, time and energy.
Look at your priorities and see if you can drop the least important items to free up your resources. The stronger your reasons for saving, the more ways you will find to save.
Go on, make yourself more efficient. You can afford it.

Realize & Help Others To Progress Better !!

The concept of the 'third eye' has always interested people. What is the 'third eye'? Can it be opened during an operation, or by going to places like Tibet or India? In meditation, we understand that the 'third eye' means the ability to understand and to perceive (realize) correctly. Then, on the basis of that perception (realization) or insight (understanding); to act and behave accordingly. In other words, on the basis of spiritual truths, we think, speak and act so that peace and well-being become natural in our life.

Spiritual values, or truths, are necessary for genuine improvement of the human condition and life.

The third eye is the intellect of the soul - when it is open, there is realization of the need to improve, change and/or create something that will help the self and others to make the quality of life better.

Humbleness Means Purity Without Expectation !!!

When you are humble you can bring benefit to many.

Like the tree laden with fruit bows down, the one who is full is the one who is humble. Such a person can bring benefit to all those around. Your humility makes you a giver in all situations, also making it easy for others to take what you have to offer. In all your interactions with others, see what you can give them, instead of expecting from them. Then, even when you have to follow others' directions there would be no difficulty. Your humility will help you give in very easily.

Meditation is a cure on Limits that we put on self !

We do not realize that we are more than the limits we repeatedly place on ourselves.

What is it that limits and overshadows us? The prayers and the requests of the human race for many centuries - with 'I need', 'I want' and 'I own', people place value on the self by relating to the material, external aspects of their lives. However, this does not work and when people insist on behaving in this way (that is, relating to the outside), then addictive attachments are created. They try to fill themselves, but exactly the opposite happens: the self becomes more and more empty. Unfortunately, the mechanism of need and greed functions in this way: first, there is the illusion of gain and secondly, when this is not realised, depletion (emptiness), instead of enrichment (filling up), occurs. Whatever the addiction is, no matter how camouflaged (hidden) it may be, it quietly but surely, ruins the person. It is a silent illness that only meditation can cure.

Control Self Being A Wise Charioteer !!

The charioteer has been shown on the chariot, holding the reins of the 5 horses. The horses are mischievous and adventurous they will lead the chariot and the charioteer astray if left to their own devices.

They are the greatest companions for the charioteer and allow him to move forward at great speed. However, if these same companions are distracted and influenced by enemy tactics, then the charioteer is at risk of also being deluded into making the wrong move and becoming trapped.

I the soul am the charioteer sitting in this body. The five horses represent the 5 senses: to hear, to see, to taste, to smell and to touch. These are my great companions. They are a part of the body, the chariot; they are separate from the charioteer, the soul.
However the senses can be pulled and influenced in all directions. The job of the charioteer is to direct them and not be influenced himself. To use them but not to become enslaved to them and the information they supply.

With these under full control the charioteer is able to withstand all challenges that come in his path and move with great wisdom.

Be a wise charioteer.

A Cooperative Effort Benefits Everyone !

Cooperation comes when there are pure feelings and good wishes for all involved in the task.

When you are working for something and that task is for common benefit, you will find that others will easily cooperate with you. Also their good wishes help in the success of the task. When you take up something new and important, make sure there is some benefit for everyone involved in the task. When you do this you will find that everyone will cooperate with you.

Communicate With Fewer Words For Best Effect !

Our actual words only form a tiny percentage of the communication. Communication is made up of mostly feelings.  Whether you like it or not, your feelings will definitely be revealed.

If you like or dislike the person you're communicating with, then everything within your whole being will communicate your feelings.

Before opening your mouth, check the feelings behind the words.

Simplicity & Humbleness Takes You Closer To Positivity !

There's great beauty in simplicity. It's not plainness, however it is plain in the sense that words and actions are enacted with great royalty, full awareness and with so much significance. Simplicity takes us away from artificialities, it simply accepts and in that acceptance shows us grace and humility in every circumstance.

When your heart is open and clean, you will be humble.

Humility needs a good home to dwell in. When the mind is filled with negative feelings or biased ideas towards anyone, you cannot use your humility. So fill your mind with positive thoughts towards everyone. If you have negative thoughts towards anyone, make an attempt to remove them. Tell yourself that you don't like one particular aspect in that person and not the person himself. In this way you will help the other person also to bring about change.

Learn from Humiliation to Move Ahead !

Your humility makes you a learner in every situation.

Where there is humility there is willingness to learn. When humility is lacking, ego comes which doesn't let you learn from all situations and people. The power of humility enables you to learn and move forward. When you face any criticism from someone, see what you can learn from it, instead of feeling bad about it. Even things that go wrong have something to teach, for the ones who are willing to learn. With your humility continue to learn.

Find 3 Specialities of Real Beauty Within You !

Real beauty comes from within.

It comes from being comfortable in your skin,
after all no one can wear it better than you can.

It comes from accepting yourself as you are;
your personality, skills and even your limitations.

It comes from seeing what's beautiful
in everyone and everything around you.

Be Tolerant Towards Own And Control Feelings Positively !

Tolerance does not mean to suppress something. Suppression is a negative energy which causes stress. In time anything that is suppressed rebound.

To tolerate means to accept through understanding. Acceptance is a change in my internal attitude towards that which I feel I need to tolerate. Tolerance is actually about respecting the differences I see.

First I have to learn to tolerate my own inner reactions. This can only happen when I learn to disengaged from the thoughts and feelings creating my inner reaction.

I am not my thoughts or feelings, they are my creation, thus I am able to separate myself from them if I wish.

If I can take a second to step back and become an observer of the drama that is going on within, then I will have the opportunity to see it from another perspective, and so understand and accept it.

Maintain A Positive Frame Of Mind !

The power of truth is such that you need never be concerned about proving it.

Truth is always revealed at the right moment and at the right place. You don't need to be concerned about proving it. You need only to be concerned with being it and living it. Trying to prove truth reveals stubbornness. When you find that someone is not believing what you say, ask yourself if you believe in it. if you do, then you need not be concerned of proving it to others. Where there is doubt in yourself you'll want to prove it to everyone.

Stop Resisting, Be Free & Peaceful !

The very act of resisting something or someone makes whatever you resist more solid.
Why then, do we resist? Perhaps our resistance stems from the belief that we can and should control what we cannot control.
Can we control people or life? If not, stop resisting.
Flow with life and see how easy life is!

Follow The Path Of Truth !

Where there is truth there is victory.

As the saying goes, 'the boat of truth may rock but it will never sink.' When you are truthful you might temporarily experience dissatisfaction, but you will ultimately attain victory. When you are going through a time which is difficult for you, remind yourself that the truth within you will ultimately get you victory. This faith will make you face all situations with a cheerful face.

Bring Self-Respect To Be Humble & Achieve Positiveness !

True humility comes when you are in your self-respect.

When you are full and in your self-respect, you will be able to remain humble in all situations. When there is no self-respect, any comments or criticism hurts your ego and you tend to lose your humility. When you find yourself getting affected by criticism, check whether you are sure of what you are doing. Increase your own confidence in whatever you do and you'll find yourself humble.

Act According To Your Positive Thoughts And Words ...

Attitude is essentially a blend of perceptions, thoughts and feelings about anyone or anything. It is influenced by memories, past experiences and beliefs.

Although we may not notice, our attitude sits at the heart of all that we say and do. It's our attitude that reflects back to us in our relationships and it's our attitude that can rub off onto others.

So, it makes obvious sense to hold a positive attitude at all times in all situations. Today, what will your attitude be?

Guide Your Mind In The Right Direction !

Secondly, meditation makes it easier for me to oppose evil. It does this by allowing me to differentiate clearly between the actor and the action. Spirituality helps me understand that the original qualities of every soul are peace, love, happiness and so I have no hatred in my heart for anyone. This helps me become fearless and stand firm against wrongdoing. With a clean heart, a clear understanding of good and evil, and connection with the divine, I am much more likely to have the faith and courage with which to stand up for what is right.

Thirdly, if the negative behaviour I am opposing activates negative tendencies within my own personality, the fight will soon wear me out and I'm unlikely to be victorious. Power absorbed from the Supreme in meditation helps me remain positive and above negative tendencies and hence face someone’s negative behavior and emerge victorious.
