Attachment Makes You Suffer !

The root of suffering is attachment. You have created a space in your mind that holds a person or object as a part of you. When that person or object is criticized, neglected or not there with you, you feel pain in your mind and you experience a sense of loss. If you want to remain happy at all times, you must learn to love and appreciate while remaining independent.

Learn From Your Mistakes!

When you make a mistake, learn from it, resolve not to repeat it and then forget about it. You will feel better again. Do the same with others, instead of making their mistakes bigger, dissolve them in your mind and help them also forget about them. A sensible person does not criticize the mistakes of others. Instead he learns from them for the future.

Live In The Present, Not In The Past!!

To forgive and forget is to reflect love. Many of us are slaves of our past. Situations pass, they cease to exist, but they continue to be alive in the mind. Open your heart and be generous, free yourself from that sorrow, forgive and forget and you will live every moment in peace.

Trust in God

There are times when we find ourselves in the situation where the person we had trusted is found to be untrustworthy. Either our eyes have been opened or the individual has changed. Life is being kind to us and teaching us a lesson that needs to be learnt, but at that time we often forget this. Our vision gets clouded and self confidence shaken. To turn out thoughts to God, the One who never fails, to find strength in knowing from experiences that with God we can press on, is good. However we must not become bitter towards the world. Each one has his or her role to play and own actions to account for. When we harbour feelings of bitterness and hatred we ourselves become cold and our hearts become like iron. Rather we should be thankful for the opportunity the individual provided for us to learn and grow.

Don't Worry! Be Happy!

Worries are an illusion. They make you live in the future, giving you the belief that you are very busy and take you away from the present. Worries are an excuse for not doing what you really have to be doing. A reactive person appears very busy and worried. With worry, no problems can be resolved. A proactive person focuses attention on the present, acts with initiative, and the understanding that being calm and free from worry is far more effective.

Determination And Patience Go Hand In Hand

Determination is the strength that will enable you to pass the barrier of useless thoughts in order to create positive thoughts and to be successful in whatever you wish. It comes from within and its partner is patience. Patience teaches you not to push but rather to wait and appreciate the game of life instead, knowing that nothing remains the same, and everything will change at some point

Attain Peace by Removing Your Ego

The great enemy of peace is ego. Ego makes you judge others and think about them in an unkind way. It makes you force others to do what you want. In this way you forget you are a student and that you are here to learn. Instead of learning, if you start telling people what they should do and try to change them, you are forgetting an important lesson in life, You can only change yourself, not others. You can only hope to change others by being an example for others to follow.

They do not come to stop you. They can strengthen you and help you progress with more experience. Keep advancing. Sometimes you do not find a solution, it is enough to keep moving forward, learning from and leaving obstacles behind.

Actions More than Words to Inspire

Your words might impress others. People will say “He is a good speaker. What interesting things he says”. But if you don’t practice what you say, others will not feel inspired to do it. It is your actions more than your words which will inspire and show them how to do it.

Powerful Form of Teaching is Example

The most powerful form of teaching is by example. What you see through your eyes creates the greatest impact. The heart accepts it and it does not need many words. You cannot impose peace on any one through force but you can bring this about by being peaceful and creating a peaceful environment.

Humility Is Rare

Every creative task needs humility behind it, for humility is plainness and on plainness the colors and shape of the work are clear to see and mould. If a new world were to come, it would need vitally this quiet basis to form itself on, that could stay the same whilst things were changing. Humility is the willingness to be used in any way that’s necessary, however out of character it may seem; for in humility, individuality has been exchanged for the task it is involved in. Quietness in this case is an unquestioning acceptance of whatever has to be done. Humility is rare, because to have it you have to want nothing. If you do have it, you get everything.

A Humble Person

A humble person is lovely to be with, for beside them one is at ones best and yet because they respect themselves, nothing done belittles them, but further speaks of their beauty because the achievement is half theirs already.

Humility

Humility dismisses nothing, but takes even small thins seriously. It is the recognition that whatever is in life and in front of you, is to be respected as something that will take you forwards; that inside big things there is sometimes little; but inside little, there is often enormity.

Life - Game of Forgetting and Remembering

Life is a game of forgetting and remembering. You are losing the game when you forget who you are and what you are doing here. You are losing the game when you remember all the false things of the past and what they did to you. You are winning the game when you remember your true identity of peace, remember the One who is always peaceful and has unconditional love for you. You are winning the game when you forget the troubles of the past and move forward with lessons learned.
