Mind : Our Best Friend Or Our Worst Enemy!

It is said that the mind can be your best friend or your worst enemy. At every moment we have the opportunity to choose our company; thoughts which bring oxygen to the spirit or those who bring pain. If I am loyal to myself, I will continually strive to go back to my inner core of positivity. Again and again, I will be patient and loving, and increasingly my mind will reside in this positive inner truth. When I am able to be loving and loyal to myself, I can then help others in this same unconditional manner.

Open Your Mind!

The mind is like a parachute - it works best when it is open. How quickly we make assumptions, jump to conclusions and close our mind. How easily we form and hold fast to our opinions and then close our mind. How fast do we make a judgment, slap on a label and then close our mind. A closed mind never knows the delight of playing with possibilities, being enlightened by others point of view or enjoying the diversity of human life. An open and understanding mind never assumes, doesn't jump to conclusions and won't hold fast to any opinion. Perhaps it is no wonder a closed mind is not a very relaxed mind.

Help The World To Live In Peace!

Your thoughts guide you to your destiny. If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you have always got. If you always think the same you will always get to the same place. Think in a new way and you will be a new person. Give happiness to all and you will live in peace. Create peace in your mind and you will create a world of peace around you.

Have Faith In Oneself.

When we are confronted with a difficult problem, we sometimes get dejected, lose faith in those things that sustained us, lose faith in the self. Our speech patterns may change, emotions are jagged and our actions are questionable. We become unstable - quite different from what we would like to be. If we remain stable in the remembrance of our true identity, if we always keep in front of us the image of our more elevated form and we understand that we are masters of our own fortune or misfortune(as you sow so shall you reap) obstacles will never shake us. If we are fortified from the inside, in face of the outside happenings we remain ever stable, ever secure, ever sure.

A War Sure To Win!

Spirituality seeks to achieve peace of MIND. If we acquire a taste for this, then very little can shake us from that inner throne of peace? Spirituality, is a gentle reminder, that since wars begins in the minds of men; it is there that they need to be resolved. Until and unless one has had an experience of Mercy and Love, then it is hard to go beyond violence. When we begin to explore and discover our innate powers of Peace and Love and the Joy they bring, only then do we discard the path of aggression or violence. We can now exercise full inner control and this is the war we have been longing to win!
