True Honesty Brings Clarity About the Self - Honesty Quotes

True honesty brings clarity about the self. Honesty doesn't mean just speaking the truth. Honesty means being clear with oneself. Then it naturally brings clarity about one's own capabilities. This clear understanding enables one to do the best according to the capacity. It gives the recognition of a higher step that can be climbed and brings the humility to learn from the different lessons of life. When we are honest we are able to know our own limitations and accept them with love. This acceptance keeps us busy with what we can do and also silently makes us ready for the next step. When time comes, we are able to do it, because we have already prepared ourselves for it. We don't stop when situations demand more from us because there is total clarity within.

A Person of Wisdom and Spirituality has Very Beautiful Manners - Inspiring Sayings

A person of wisdom and spirituality has very beautiful manners that have grown from genuine respect and love for the whole of humanity. Manners in this sense have nothing to do with culture or education: it is simply a question of humility. When we are at the receiving end of such manners, we feel that some deeper part of us has been honored. In fact, none of us deserves anything less.

Develop Respect for Yourself to Grow and Change for the Better - Self Respect Quotes

When I learn to respect myself, other people will respect me. How can I develop respect for myself? By keeping my mind positive and encouraging myself to grow and change for the better. Demanding respect because of my position or background is simply arrogance. On the other hand, listening with humility and valuing other people's advise naturally earns me respect. I get back exactly what I give out.

Remove Mind Block About People & Learn From All !!

Humility helps us maintain good relationships with others. When involved in something that we are doing, we naturally come into contact with a lot of people. We sometimes find that we are not able to get along with certain people. We find it very difficult to maintain a good relationship with them and finally avoid dealing with them all together.

The first thing to do is to avoid thinking that we cannot get along with someone because of their personality. When we remove this first block in our mind we will be able to see the good in all. We will no longer think that we are here to teach them but will humbly learn whatever we can from them.

The Final Analysis Is Between You and God

People are often unreasonable, self-centered: Forgive them anyway. If you are Honest, People may cheat you, but be Honest anyway. What you spend years to build, someone could destroy overnight. Build anyway. The good you do today, People will often forget tomorrow. Do Good anyway. You see, in the final analysis it is between you and God; it never was between you and them anyway.

Humility Means Give and Take of Love

Where there is humility there is the give and take of love. Usually we don't even know when we are working with our ego because it is deeply concealed. Even when someone points out our ego, we don't want to accept it and we continue to work with it. Ego finishes the ability to learn and negatively effects our relationships because there is no give and take of love. The method to overcome ego is to develop humility. Humility means to be strong within yet to be gentle and flexible. This enables us to bend i.e., to bow. When we bow it doesn't mean we are defeated, but it reveals our own victory. It is only when we bend and forgive will we be able to allow the flow of love in relationships.

With Humility and Love Flexibility Becomes Natural

With humility and love, flexibility becomes natural. In order to be flexible we need to have the virtue of humility. With humility we will be willing to understand the people around and their behavior. Then we will also be able to have love for them. This automatically brings flexibility within us. When we come across people who are not being cooperative, we need to become humble and try to understand what the they are communicating, if not through words at least through their actions. When we are able to listen with love and understanding, we will no more be rigid but can easily adapt ourselves.

Greatness Lies in Being Humble

Greatness lies in being humble. A seed grows only when it is mingled with the mud. In the same way, the one who is great is naturally humble. He understands the truth that only when there is humility will there be success. Humility gives the power to bow down without reducing one's own self-respect. When we are humble we are able to be experience our inner greatness, which naturally keeps us set on the seat of our self-respect. So when the situation demands, we have no problem bowing down. We are able to allow the situations to work on us and we are able to strengthen ourselves from within under all circumstances.

The One Who Is Humble Is Always Successful

The one who is humble is always successful. The one who is humble is free from desires and is in a state of appreciation and contentment of what he has. So he does not want to prove to himself that he is successful. He only enjoys the process of learning and progressing. He is never deterred by criticism and takes it in the right spirit. Humility enables him to appreciate the effort put in by those around him. He would naturally be able to see the specialities in others and respect them for it. There would be no feeling of envy. He would naturally be able to have the quality of contributing for the progress of others too.
